It's the first of March— March Madness I should say! Some of March Madness's Events: Albert Einstein was born, Dr. Seuss was born, National Pigs Day, the first sighting of Oreo Cookies being sold, Coca-Cola was invented, the first walk in space, the first pancakes were made, St. Patrick's Day, Read Across America Day, first paper money issued, Peanut Butter Lover's Day, Make Up Your Own Holiday Day, & my BIRTHDAY! So, to celebrate this madness in march, I will bake 20 sweet treats that will be photographed and posted on the blog for viewing! So, drumroll please: The first of the bunch, my Lemony Lavender Cookie (shown below).
It really was great! It took me back to the old-times (or what I hear from the old-tales) hah... 'A glass of Raspberry Tea and a Lemony Lavender Cookie while two old ladies small talk over their new bonnets'... Still, the cookies were fabulous and to die for! I couldn't have started out this month of madness any better! I'll update this post in a few days with the recipe so you guys can munch and grub over old lady cookies. Just kidding. Until then, brainstorm some crazy cookie ideas... This month has to be exotic!
